Intel unveils the Specifications of Intel Optane H10 Memory


Intel is well known for its high-performance CPU but apart from that, the company is trying to expand its reach of technology by manufacturing flash memory and Graphic cards. And now, the company is stepping up to the next level in the field of flash memory with Optane.

You might be remembered that at the CES 2019, Intel announced its first Optane H10 Memory solution which combines Optane and new quad-level cell NAND on the same M.2 card. This was something which no one imagined before as the complete combination two of the company’s best technologies sits on an M.2 card. This Solid-State Drive will deliver the ultimate power to the laptops, 2-in-1 convertibles and PC to read and write data at lightning speed.

Intel has now unveiled the specifications of its Optane H10 Memory. Intel H10 will be offered in three versions – 256GB, backed by 16GB of Optane, 512GB backed by 32GB of Optane, and 1,024GB, backed by the same 32GB of Optane. According to Intel, this H10 SSD will deliver a blazing read performance up to 2,400MB/s, with write performance of up to 1,800MB/s. The best thing is that, this SSD can be fitted on to a single M.2 slot making it perfect for laptops having a single M.2 slot to boost the performance.

In addition, this H10 memory comes with four PCIe 3.0 connection with additionally two memory controllers. Out of these controllers, one works for the NAND and other works for Optane giving it a perfect balance. Also, this memory comes with a trustable 5 year of warranty and promises to deliver the combined write endurance of 300TB.

So overall, this M.2 chip is great hardware for all the upgradable notebooks and desktop having an M.2 slot to increase their performance at the best.
