Intel Announces 10th Gen Processors for Laptops

Intel has recently announced the first series Processors of its 10th Gen. Today, the company has officially announced the second series 10th Gen Processors for Laptops. The new Processors have been introduced under the company’s Comet Lake lineup. The previous processors were under its Ice Lake series. Both the series are completely different from each other in terms of their performance.

The new Comet Lake series Processors are using the same 14nm manufacturing process which makes them more compatible on the new generation laptops. Both Comet Lake and Ice Lake CPUs will be sold as Intel’s 10th Gen Processors as Core U-Series and Core Y-Series.

The new 10th Generation Processors will be used by the Manufacturers of thin and compact laptops.

If we talk about the 10th Gen Processors, both U-Series and Y-Series have four four models. In the U-Series the SKU is Core i7-10710U this brings total six core processors to the Intel’s U-Series. The new Processors will not come with Intel’s latest Gen11 Graphics. The new processors still rely on the older graphics which looks quite odd.

Lack of advanced graphics makes this Processors ideal for the users with limited productivity and limited work on the laptops. It also reduces the overall costing of the laptops.

Apart from this, the new generation Intel’s processors offer enhanced performance compared to the previous generation. The company claims that the new generation Chips offer 16% better core performance and 41% faster productivity over the previous generations. So yes, you will get super fast and smooth performance on the laptops using this Intel 10th Gen Processors.

Additionally, the company has also announced that the newly announced 10th Generation Intel’s Processors will be available commercially. This means we would get to see the 10th Gen laptops from different brands. There would be hundreds of ultra-portable and affordable laptops available powered by Intel’s latest chip.

The company has stated that the laptops and other devices powered by Intel’s 10th Gen chips will be available for purchase starting from mid-October month through numerous OEMs. We will update you with more information.
