Instagram has become the most popular social networking platform for digital marketers. In fact, over 85% of web marketers use Instagram as their primary platform for advertising. To grow your Instagram followers or audiences, there are many third-party apps and platforms available.
If you too are making use of such third-party Instagram Stalking apps, then here’s a piece of bad news for you. Apple has officially removed Instagram Stalking Apps from its platform. If you were using such apps from your iOS or Mac systems, then you will not be able to use them by now as the company has removed such apps from the official App Store.
According to sources, there are many Instagram Stalking apps such as Like Patrol and many other more available. The app is a premium app and it charges a huge amount of money from the users.
The person who makes use of this app receives notifications in real-time whenever he receives a like or comment or a new follower. According to insider’s report, the number of active subscribers for the app was increasing rapidly as people have started using such platforms for their own benefits.
However, using such third-party apps is totally illegal and it violates the terms and conditions. To put a ban on the app and its irrelevant activities, Instagram had sent a cease-and-desist letter to such apps who were available on the App Store.
So the legal actions were already taken by Apple to ban such apps. The makers of those apps also have filed the same notice to let users use their applications.
To keep its users safe, Apple has decided to remove such apps from the App Store. No Apple users will be able to use and install such third-party apps on their iOS devices or Mac systems by now.
Furthermore, Apple has said that many of such apps are violating their guidelines and to keep everyone safe from being spied by third-party apps, they have removed those apps.
The founders of these apps have said that they will try to make such apps available as Open Source apps.
