Instagram may soon let you and your friends watching videos together just like Facebook’s Watch Party feature. According to a report of TechCrunch, famous tech tipster, Jane Manchung spotted a feature called ‘Co-Watch’ in Instagram’s Direct Messaging code which is just similar to that of Facebook’s Watch Party feature where a group of peoples can watch and interact on the same video together.
According to this report, this feature lets a group of peoples to watch videos usually from the stories or IGTV section or a ‘suggested’ section depending upon the algorithm. However, this claim is still not confirmed by Instagram and they denied uttering any word on this feature which clearly indicates that the feature is still under development and may take a while to be pushed for the public.

Moreover, this feature is taken as a booster for the popularity of IGTV which was unveiled last year. This feature will increase public engagement as well as it will also increase the revenue of the company because of the ads appearing in the IGTV. So overall, this feature will emerge as beneficial for the company. For users, you may have to wait for some more time to get clearance on this feature.
