Instagram 10 for 10 challenge: What is the 10 for 10 challenge on Instagram?

Social media giant Instagram is helping you return to healthy habits following lockdown with the 10 for 10 challenge. The 10 for 10 challenge actually originated at the start of the coronavirus lockdown.

This sadly forced fitness fans to construct new ways to stay in shape after the government ordered all gyms to close due to social distancing rules.

To make matters worse, even outdoor exercise was restricted to one per day per person.

This meant the only solution to maintain that hard-earned physique was at-home workout YouTube videos and exercise routines.

This is where the Instagram 10 for 10 Challenge comes in – and the craze is still going viral.

TikTok and WhatsApp fans warned not to be fooled by fake messages

The 10 for 10 Challenge used to have a different name, the See 10 Do 10 Challenge, but it’s still exactly the same.

Instagram users must complete their own set of 10 press-ups or push-ups before nominating 10 others to join them.

The Insta challenge is a great way to complete a fun challenge while also getting some exercise at the same time.

The Instagram 10 for 10 Challenge immediately went viral around the world.

Ms Hudson was nominated by her gospel singer and songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard, who did manage the 10 for 10 challenge.

One of the most impressive celebrity attempts so far was by American rapper Quavo.

So perhaps now is the time to give it a go yourself?

Simply post your push-up or pull-up attempt to Instagram and tag your friends.

The latest social media craze coincides with the arrival of a controversial Instagram update on Android and iPhone.

Instagram is reportedly introducing a new way to message powered by Facebook Messenger.

When launching Instagram, some users are seeing an update stating: “There’s a New Way to Message on Instagram.”

This is then followed by a list of changes including a chat aesthetic, allowing emoji reaction and swipe to reply to messages.

And there is also an option to directly converse with friends on Facebook.

However, this is not popular with some Insta users, as Facebook recently revealed it was adding its branding to more of its apps including WhatsApp.
