Infinix Hot S3 with FullView Display and 20MP Selfie Camera Launched in India for Rs. 8,999


Infinix Mobile has today launched a new Hot series smartphone, dubbed as Infinix Hot S3, in India. The budget-centric smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. Rs 8,999 for 3GB RAM/ 32 GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant costs Rs. 10,999. The smartphone will be available to purchase exclusively via Flipkart starting from February 12 at 12 noon. It will be made available in Sandstone black and Brush Gold colour options.

The Infinix Hot S3 runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with company’s own XOS v3.0 operating system on top. It features a 5.65” HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) FullView 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass on top, it bears screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It offers 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 2GB/ 64GB of internal storage respectively. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via micoSD card.

For photography, the Infinix Hot S3 has a 13MP primary camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and dual LED flash. On the front, it has a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and dual LED flash.

The Infinix Hot S3 is fueled by a 4000mAh non-removable battery with xCharge technology. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and micro USB port. Sensors on board include an Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, G-sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Speaking on the occasion, Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix India said, “India is an extremely significant market for Infinix and HOT S3 is getting launched in ‘India first’ before getting launched in other markets.”
