iMovie and iWork Apps Updated with Magic Keyboard and Trackpad Support


Apple has recently updated its iMovie for iPad users by adding support for mouse and trackpad. The same app now receives the support of shortcuts, extra image formats and much more. The app has become a fully feature-rich one to use it like a pro.

Apart from the iMovie app, the popular iPad app named iWork has also been updated with a bunch of new features and support for the newly launched Magic Keyboard. Apple has released updated notes by mentioning all the newly added support for both the apps. The Magic Keyboard is compatible with the latest edition of iPad i.e. iPad Pro.

New Features added to iMovie and iWork app:

You can use iMovie app on iPad with Magic Keyboard, trackpad and mouse. You are allowed to create full movies or trailers like a professional video editor by using the iMovie app on an iPad device. All the other shortcuts and extraordinary much-needed features also added for the updated app.

Apart from this, iPad cursor support has also been added to the app. All iPads now support mouse and trackpad cursors. Previously, the cursor support was limited for the latest and new devices only. But with the new update, all iPad users will be able to use the cursor through mouse and trackpad.

Additionally, the new Magic Keyboard Accessory which is Apple’s first Keyboard accessory for iPad Pro now available. The magic keyboard features a trackpad which enables iPad Pro users to use the device like a Macbook Pro.

Logitech is planning to come up with the same Magic Keyboard for other iPad devices i.e. for the older iPads. However, there is no timeline released for the Magic Keyboard accessory for older devices as of now. We will soon get the official release date for the same from Logitech.
