Huawei to launch Samsung Galaxy Z Flip like foldable smartphone


NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Huawei was one of the first manufacturers to launch foldable smartphones. The company launched the Huawei Mate X in 2019. And now the company is gearing up for the launch of another foldable smartphone. According to a new report, Huawei is planning to come up with a new smartphone with clamshell-like design.
As per LetsGoDigital, the company has filed for new patents which hint that it might launch a foldable smartphone with clamshell design. This means that the company will launch a foldable smartphone with the Motorola Razr and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip like design.
The report also adds that the secondary display of the phone will display messages, notifications and more. The smartphone is said to come with a narrow display with a punch-hole.
Recently, Huawei launched the Mate 30E Pro smartphone, which is the upgraded version of Mate 30. The new smartphone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 990E processor, which is the improved version of the earlier launched Kirin 990. The company has not yet revealed the price of Huawei Mate 30E Pro, but the smartphone device is up for pre-booking in China. The customers can purchase the smartphone in four colour options — Space Silver, Emerald Green, Cosmic Purple, and Black.
Talking about the camera, the Huawei Mate 30E Pro sports a quad-rear camera setup which comprises of 40MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 40MP secondary sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization and an 8MP tertiary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and OIS support. The rear camera also includes a time-of light sensor for depth sensing. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and a 3D depth sensor.
