Huawei P20 with Triple Rear Cameras Appeared on Weibo


Huawei’s next flagship device Huawei P20 with triple rear cameras has appeared on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The smartphone is already surfaced online from the last couple of days, earlier we have seen an unconfirmed schematics that revealed the form factor of the device, it also reveals that the smartphone will be available in three different variants.

In terms of appearance, Huawei P20 also uses the popular full-screen design with 18:9 aspect ratio. There are narrow bezels on the top and bottom of the device but the side bezels are almost disappeared. The visual impression of the device seems very promising. The back of the smartphone is made of glass, and there are three cameras horizontally placed on the top left corner of the device.

From previous leaks, Huawei P20 will arrive in three different variants. It will be powered by the AI focused Kirin 970 processor and offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.  It will also equip with Huawei’s own facial recognition technology which claims to be 10 times more accurate than Apple’s Face ID.

Huawei’s facial recognition tech captures 300,000 data points  – 10 times more than Face ID, which captures just 30,000 data points. The technology can also be used to create animated emojis which Huawei claims are more advanced than Apple’s Animojis. Apart from mimicking facial expressions, Huawei’s animated emojis can also track the movement of your tongue.

Huawei is expected to launch the smartphone on February 26th – the first day of the 2018 Mobile World Congress.
