Huawei Nova 3i Launched with new Kirin 710 12nm SoC: Price, Specifications and More


After launching Nova 3 last week, Huawei has now launched a liter version of the smartphone called Huawei Nova 3i in China. The main highlights of the smartphone include Huawei’s latest Kirin 710 12nm processor with GPU Turbo support, four cameras and 6.3”nearly bezel-less display.

The smartphone comes with a price tag of CNY 1,999 ($ 297/ Rs. 20,400 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model and CNY 2,199 ($ 327/ Rs. 22,500 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. While the pricing of the top-end 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model will reveal later. The smartphone will available to purchase starting 10:08 am on August 10 in Chila. It will be made available in Black, Purple, and White colour options.

As for specifications, the Huawei Nova 3i runs on EMUI 8.2 based on top of Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and sports a 6.3” full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 19.5:9 LTPS display with a pixel density of 409ppi. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.2 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor. As mention above, it offers 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage options. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Huawei Nova 3i comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup at the back as well as on the front. The rear camera setup includes a 16MP primary and a 2MP secondary sensor with AI scene recognition technology, while on the front, it has a 24MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera also supports 3D Qmoji, which is similar to Apple’s Animoji.

The Huawei Nova 3i is fuelled by a 3340mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, GLONASS, GPS/ A-GPS, USB 2.0 port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. It measures 157.6×75.2×7.6mm and weighs 169 grams.
