NEW DELHI: Huawei has expanded its laptop lineup with the launch of MateBook X 2020 in China. The laptop comes in Emerald Green, Space Gray, Mystic Silver, and Pink colour options and is said to be the upgraded version of the MateBook X which the company launched last year in China. The laptop comes with a starting price tag of 7999 yuan and will go on sale in the country starting August 24.
Huawei MateBook X 2020 comes with a 13-inch LTPS display with 3000×2000 pixel resolution and 178 degree wide viewing angles. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor and 1.8Ghz 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel UHD Graphics. The laptop packs 8GB/16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD space.
The MateBook X 2020 runs Windows 10 Home operating system and features a 1MP HD pop-up webcam. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint sensor and the laptop also comes equipped with dual digital microphones and quad speakers.
The Huawei MateBook X 2020 is backed by a 42wh battery. The laptop comes with a touch-sensitive touchpad which also has Huawei’s sharing feature built for multi-screen collaboration.
Recently, it was reported that Huawei’s sub-brand Honor might launch new smartphones, laptops, tablets, smartwatch, and router at the upcoming tech show IFA 2020 in Berlin. Apart from Honor, the other companies like Realme, LG, Huawei, TCL will also be present at the event to showcase their new products.
