Huawei Mate 30 Pro Display leaks shows the Wide Notch, Curved Display panel

Huawei is gearing up to release its new flagship smartphone in the market, the Mate 30 Pro later this year to compete against some other flagship phones including Samsung Galaxy Note 10, and iPhone 11. Until now, we only have seen the back panel of the phone but didn’t get the front look. Well, that’s not anymore, as one of the first images of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been leaked online showing the display structure of the phone.

The images have been published on the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo that are claimed to be of Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s front panel. None of the specs have been shared related to the display of this phone, but the glass panel itself does appear to reveal some of the specifications. Just like its predecessor, the Mate 30 Pro is shown with the same display setup. The only change you can see is the curved OLED display which is paired with wide-notch at the front.

Well, that’s surprising that, Huawei has used to ship its latest flagship phone with a wide-notch instead of dew-drop style notch, as the company has already brought the dew-drop style notch in Mate 20 and P30 series. On a separate design note, today’s leak suggests the upcoming flagship will adopt a more angular design that’s in line with that of the Galaxy Note 10 series. Presumably, Huawei is doing this in order to better differentiate the Mate series from the P lineup, the latter of which is associated with more rounded designs.

Apart from this, we have already seen the back panel of this phone which features circular-quad rear camera module. Until now, we have seen only vertically aligned camera module on Huawei’s phone. Well, this is a completely new concept from Huawei that is going to be brought in this smartphone. It will be the first smartphone from Huawei to come with a circular camera module instead of a long vertically aligned module.

Also, there are no details available regarding the specs of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. However, being a flagship phone, we can expect it to be powered by HilSilicon Kirin 985 SoC and 5G technology. Other rumored features that have leaked before including a 90Hz display and 55W fast-charging support.
