RCS Chat is Google’s next-generation messaging feature which is bringing a revolutionary change in the way we send and receives messages. RCS Chat is at its initial stages and is currently being rolled out to the people around the globe. However, at the early stages, it was compulsory for a user to have a carrier that supports the RCS Universal Profile (such as Google Fi). But now, Google is allowing users to take benefits of the RCS Chat on their phone regardless of the carrier in select countries. Well, if your phone supports the RCS Chat, here’s how to enable this feature in your Google’s Messages app. So, follow these steps carefully!
Step 1: First, install the latest version of Google Messages app on your smartphone. In case, if you already have the app installed on your phone, make sure to update it to the latest version.
Step 2: Once installed, open the Google Messages app on your Android phone.

Step 4: Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner and then tap on Settings.
Step 5: Enter your Phone Number and tap on Continue to proceed further.
Once done, your phone number will be verified shortly by the Google and now you can use the RCS Chat feature on Google Messages.
