But now, Google is allowing users to take benefits of the RCS Chat on their phone regardless of the carrier in select countries. Well, if your phone supports the RCS Chat, here’s how to enable this feature in your Google’s Messages app. So, follow these steps carefully!
Step 1: First, install the latest version of Google Messages app on your smartphone. In case, if you already have the app installed on your phone, make sure to update it to the latest version.
Step 2: Once installed, open the Google Messages app on your Android phone.
Step 3: You will see a pop-up showing you some features of the app and ask you to agree to the Terms and Conditions. You simply tap on Yes I’m in to proceed further.

Step 4: Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner and then tap on Settings.
Step 5: Enter your Phone Number and tap on Continue to proceed further.

Once done, your phone number will be verified shortly by the Google and now you can use the RCS Chat feature on Google Messages.
