How to delete Apple’s Siri search history from iPhone


Past week, Apple has been reportedly found sharing the voice assistant data with the contractors in order to improve the service. As mentioned by a report by The Guardian, these data were shared with the contractors that put the user data at risk. However, just after that Apple has discontinued the ‘grading’ program for Siri for security purpose. 

Well, if you are also a Siri user and is not feeling comfortable with the data breach, you always have an option to remove all the Siri history data. In case, if you are not aware of this setting, here’s how you can delete Siri search history.

How to delete Apple’s Siri search history from iPhone

There are two ways to delete the Siri search history. Either you can discontinue the Siri service complete to discontinue all the data sync or here how you can continue using Siri and delete the search history.

Before you proceed, make sure you close the Safari browser from the background tasks.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Scroll down and select the Safari app.

Step 3: Tap on Clear History.

In case you want to delete the history and disable the Siri services completely, follow the given steps.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Select the Siri option inside the General tab.

Step 3: Tap on the Siri option to disable it.

Step 4: Drive back to the main Setting app page.

Step 5: Select the General tab again followed by Keyboard.

Step 6: Disable the Dictation option.

In this way, you can delete the Siri search history from iPhone.
