Introduced in the One Wasteland for All Update, the Daily Operations, or simply known as Daily Ops, are a recurring event in Fallout 76 that players can participate in either solo or with a party. These instanced events reset daily and provide a thrilling and challenging experience for players at level 50 and above. The goal is to complete the Operations as quickly as possible to earn rewards based on completion time, with higher rewards for faster completion. It is highly recommended to form a group to take on the Operations due to the challenging buffs on mutated enemies.
This guide will provide detailed instructions on accessing Daily Ops, preparing for the event, and maximizing your rewards with each attempt. Similar to other instanced events, you need to open your map to start this adventure.
How To Begin The Daily Ops
Players can join Daily Ops as soon as they launch the game, but it is recommended for players at level 50 and above. To begin, open your map and look in the bottom right corner of the map screen, where the World Activity tab is located. Daily Ops should be available to start immediately.
To maximize your experience in Daily Ops, try forming a party in the social tab. A full party of four players, including yourself, will grant a +100% bonus experience boost.
Accepting the invite for the Daily Operation will teleport you to the designated location for the event. If you’re in a party, make sure to wait for all members to gather before proceeding into the dungeon, as the event will automatically start. This is also an opportune time to ensure you have the right build for the challenge.
How To Complete The Daily Ops
Once you’re ready to tackle the event, familiarize yourself with the Daily Ops objectives and strategize on how to complete them quickly. There are different modifiers, such as varied maps, enemies, mutations, and objectives to consider. There are three ranks available in Daily Ops:
Initiate (~16 Minutes)
The Initiate rank can be achieved by solo players who complete the event within 16 minutes. This rank can be repeated for rewards throughout the day.
Paladin (~12 Minutes)
The Paladin rank is for focused players with optimized builds and can be unlocked once a day for special rewards.
Elder (~8 Minutes)
The Elder rank is for elite players with perfect builds or coordinated teams. Similar to the Paladin rank, it can be unlocked once a day and offers a guaranteed chance for a rare reward. After completing the Daily Ops, be sure to loot everything within the 5-minute time window before being ejected from the dungeon. You can leave at any time after collecting your rewards. If you’re not satisfied with your score, feel free to rerun the event multiple times until you achieve the desired rank for its special rewards. As long as each subsequent attempt is completed within 16 minutes, you will qualify for the repeatable Initiate rank rewards for each successful attempt.
