How to Catch Oceara and Nessla in Temtem

Pokémon-inspired MMORPG Temtem has finally made its debut on Steam, and it is by far one of the most faithful recreations of the Pokémon franchise. Developed by Crema, Temtem is still in its early access and has an estimated release date of Q2 2020.
While PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players have to wait for the game to launch on the respective platforms, PC gamers have already been playing it for a week now.
In this game, players take the role of a Temtem tamer, who gets a starter Temtem. After that, they soon begin their journey across Airbone Archipelago’s six floating islands. Players can explore the world, battle Temtem creatures, and then catch it with TemCard. Tamers will also get a chance to battle other tamers, as well as encounter Dojo Leaders in a Temtem fight. As you progress through your journey, you will face an evil organization called Clan Belsoto. You have to foil their plans of taking over the islands by force.
Those who are playing Temtem now already know how difficult it is to catch Oceara and Nessla, two of the rarest water-type Temtem in the game. For all the tamers out there, we have prepared this guide on how to catch them.

How to Find & Catch Oceara

To get started, you have to defeat the first Dojo Leader Sophia in a Temtem battle. As a reward, you will be given a surfboard, which you can use to cross water bodies.
After that, head over to Briçal de Mar and cash out on healing items and TemCards as it will be a difficult fight if you manage to encounter Oceara.
Now make your way to the banks of the Sillaro River and start surfing. You can also use a Scent to repel wild Temtem encounters. Follow the path to the north, crossing the piers until you get to a few swimmers. Just avoid them and take a left turn to the narrow cave.
The cave is called Aguamarina caves. You will encounter a lot of Temtem, but fortunately, you won’t find any NPCs to battle. Once again, you can use a Scent to avoid encounters.
As you go through the caves, it will lead you to a small pool. You might find other players here, since everyone has the same objective as you, capturing Oceara.
Once you manage to find the pool, start surfing in the pool until you get to encounter Oceara. There’s only a 5% chance of Oceara spawning in the pool, and the low catch rate makes it a difficult catch.
If you are lucky enough to fight an Oceara, make sure to weaken it first, and then use a TemCard to catch it.

How to Find & Catch Nessla

Start with climbing the Thallasian Cliffs, and take a turn to the north. You will find a small pond, which is the spawn location of Nessla.
Similar to Oceara, Nessla has a mere 5% chance of spawning in the pond. You need to surf in the pond until you find one.
Make sure to level up your Temtem to level 17 or higher, and use your Temcards only when Nessla has low HP.

Wrapping Up

Oceara and Nessla are both powerful water-type Temtem, and they will be a great addition to your Temtem squad. This guide has detailed instructions on how to find and catch them. If you manage to catch even one of the Temtem, it will definitely be worth your efforts.
