Honor Watch GS and Honor Watch ES launched at IFA 2020

NEW DELHI: Huawei‘s sub-brand Honor has launched its latest Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES at the ongoing tech show IFA 2020 in Berlin. The Honor GS PRo is the company’s first rugged smartwatch while the Watch ES is said to be the private fitness trainer on your wrist.
Honor Watch GS Pro
Honor Watch GS Pro comes in Black, White and Camo Blue colour options and is priced at 249 euros. The smartwatch will be available in Europe from September 7. The wearable comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixel resolution. The device is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin A1 chipset. It connects via Bluetooth and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The Honor Watch GS Pro packs 4GB of internal storage which can store about 500 songs. The device is also water resistant up to 50 meters. It comes with an in-built microphone and
speaker.
The smartwatch also offers heart rate tracking with TruSeen 3.5, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring, SpO2 monitor to track your blood oxygen saturation level.
Users can also track and control their daily activities such as step count, calories burned, and more using the smartwatch. The device can also automatically detect and record your workout with voice broadcasts in real time. The wearable supports 100 training modes including hiking, mountaineering, open water swimming, pool swimming, free training, triathlon, indoor and outdoor running, and more.
The device is backed by a 455mAH battery with up to 25 days of battery life, 100 hours with GPS outdoor mode.
Honor Watch ES
The Honor Watch ES is a fitness-oriented smartwatch and it sports a 1.64-inch square AMOLED display with 280×456 pixel resolution. The device comes with an always-on display and customisable widget and watch faces. It comes with 95 different workout modes and also keeps track of your heart rate, blood oxygen level and sleep.
The smartwatch claims to offer 10 days of battery backup on a single charge and it also comes with quick charge support. The company claims that the smartwatch can charge up to 70% in just 30 minutes. The wearable comes in Black, Pink and White colour options and is priced at 100 Euros.
