Honor 8A With Waterdrop Notch, Render Leaked before its January 8 Launch

Honor is set to launch its New Range of Smartphones for 2019, and it started its journey with its new upcoming smartphone Honor 8A. This flagship by Honor was set to launch on January 8, 2019, in China. But before its actual launch, its design has been leaked through some renders. Recently,  a fresh render has leaked through a web portal DroidShout.

As far from this leaked render, it looks like this Honor 8A will also have a 13-megapixel single rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is expected that Honor 8A will be available in two color variants, Black and Blue. As per the information gathered from this leak, Honor 8A will be packed up with a huge 6.09-inches HD+ IPS display with a Waterdrop Notch. Also, this leak suggests that it will have a huge 3,020 mAh battery.

Moreover, this flagship by Honor is powered by Octa-Core Media-Tek P35 chipset with 3 GB RAM which will be available with 32GB/64GB internal storage variants. Honor has reported that this upcoming smartphone will have dual-sim support as well as MicroSD card support which will be expandable up to 256 GB. Like all the upcoming smartphones, the new Honor 8A will also run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0.

This looks like an upgraded version of Honor 7A with some major modifications like Waterdrop Notch, but unlike Honor 7A it has an only single camera instead of dual-camera which was there on Honor 7A. It is also expected that the body to screen ratio of Honor 8A will be higher than that of Honor 7A. The back panel of Honor 8A has a matte finish which looks spectacular.

This new Smartphone by Honor is set to launch on January 8, in China and is expected to be launched under $150.
