Honor 7C with 5.99” Full-view Display and dual rear cameras Goes Official


Honor has today launched a new budget smartphone dubbed as Honor 7C in China. The smartphone comes with the price tag of 899 Yuan ($142/ Rs 9,235 approx.) for the 3GB RAM variant and 4GB RAM variant is priced at 1,299 Yuan ($205/ Rs 13,345 approx.). The Honor 7C will go on sale starting from March 13 while the pre-orders are already started. The smartphone will be made available in Black, Red, Gold and Blue colour options.

Talking about specifications, the Honor 7C runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.0 on top. It sports a 5.99” FullView HD (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 Octa-Core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It offers 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Honor 7C comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor with LED flash support. On the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The front camera packs facial recognition feature as well.  Both the front and the rear cameras support portrait mode.

The Honor 7C is fueled by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back. The handset measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8 mm and weighs around 164 grams.
