Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro+ with 4,000mAh Battery Launched: Price, Specifications and More
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has just launched its three flagship phones – Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, and Honor 30 Pro+. All these smartphones are launched today in China and will be going on sale starting April 21. All these three smartphones come with top-of-the-line specs and features. Since all these three smartphones are launched under the Honor 30 series, most of the specs of the phones are similar to each other with some differences. Let’s take an individual look at each of them to get a clearer look.
Honor 30 Specifications
The all-new Honor 30 features a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) hole-punch display with OLED panels. The panel sports a 20:9 aspect ratio and also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The display of the phone is TUV Rheinland certified for eye protection.
Under the hood, this smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 985 SoC, paired with up to 8GB RAM. For media and storage, it comes with up to 256GB of onboard storage.
In the camera department, the Honor 30 sports a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 40-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with f/3.4 aperture, and a last 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The telephoto lens supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom. At the front, it packs a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture which sits inside the punch-hole.
Apart from this, the Honor 30 runs on Magic UI 3.1.1, based on Android 10. It comes with regular suites of sensors and connectivity options. Last but not the least, Honor 30 is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
Honor 30 Pro Specifications
On the other hand, Honor 30 Pro comes with a 6.57-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout for the dual front-facing cameras. Similar to the base model, its display also has a 20:9 aspect ratio and also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the latest octa-core Kirin 990 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. For media and storage, it comes with up to 256GB of onboard storage.
In the optics department, the Honor 30 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 40-megapixel super-sensitive camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 16-megapixel super wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with f/3.4 aperture. At the front, it features a dual selfie camera setup that has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Apart from this, all the other specs of the phone are similar to that of Honor 30 phone.
Honor 30 Pro+ Specifications
Last but the top model of the series, Honor 30 Pro+ packs a 90Hz 6.57” curved display with AMOLED panel that has 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is the first smartphone from Honor to feature a curved display. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Honor 30 Pro+ is powered by the same Kirin 990 5G SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. For media and storage, it comes with up to 256GB of onboard storage.
In the imaging department, the Honor 30 Pro+ sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX700 sensor with other same sensors of Honor 30 Pro. The camera of the Honor 30 Pro+ also supports AI RAW photos – during a long exposure, it captures multiple RAW shots and then blends them into one RAW image for further editing.
Apart from this, Honor 30 Pro+ also runs on the same Magic UI 3.1.1, based on Android 10. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, and USB Type-C port. Last but not the least, the phone is fulled by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 40W wired and 27W wireless charging. It also supports reverse charging.
Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro+ Price and Availability
As for the price, the Honor 30 is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs. 32,400) for the 6GB + 128GB model, at CNY 3,199 (approx Rs. 34,600) for the 8GB + 128GB model, and at CNY 3,499 (approx Rs. 37,800) for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
On the other hand, the Honor 30 Pro is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs. 43,200) for the 8GB + 128GB model and at CNY 4,399 (approx Rs. 47,600) for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
Lastly, the Honor 30 Pro+ is priced at CNY 4,999 (approx Rs. 54,100) for the 8GB + 256GB model, and at CNY 5,499 (approx Rs. 59,500) for the 12GB + 256GB option.
All three models comes in Magic Night Black, Wizard of Oz, Titanium Empty Silver, and Neon Purple color options. As for availability, they will be going on their first sale in China on April 21.
