Here’s exactly how thin the iPhone 15 Pro bezels are likely to look

The iPhone 15 leaks and rumors continue to circulate, and the latest unauthorized images reveal renderings that illustrate the remarkably thin bezels expected on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The renderings originated from South Korean site Naver, posted by yeux1122, and obtained by AppleInsider. These renderings provide a glimpse into how the display bezels on this year’s Pro-level iPhones may compare to those on last year’s Pro models.

These images are based on the leaks that have emerged thus far. Just last week, reliable tipster Mark Gurman indicated that the bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max would be reduced from 2.2mm to 1.5mm – a significant decrease.

Speculation about thinner bezels has been circulating all year, revealing Apple’s desire to achieve a fully bezel-less iPhone as soon as possible. Images of the glass panels destined for the more expensive iPhone 15 models further highlight the potential thinness of the bezels.

Additional Renderings

Based on current information, it appears that this design modification will be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Therefore, the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will retain the same bezel sizes as this year’s models.

While most individuals would agree that smaller bezels contribute to a more visually appealing phone, it remains uncertain whether the potential thinnest bezels ever featured on these iPhones will result in a higher price point.

Interestingly, the team at 9to5Mac has also compiled their own renders of the front of the iPhone based on previous rumors from Mark Gurman and others. Thus, you have a choice of unofficial images to reference.

Unfortunately, a completely bezel-free iPhone will have to wait. Apple has been negotiating with suppliers for bezel-less iPhone OLED panels, but they will not be ready in time for the September 2023 release of the iPhone 15.
