PowerA has once again partnered with Kirby to create a new wireless Nintendo Switch controller featuring the lovable pink mascot.
This isn’t PowerA’s first collaboration with Kirby. They previously released a wired controller for Kirby’s 30th Anniversary. Now, we have the pleasure of a wireless Kirby controller to add to our collection of cute controllers that we never actually use. We all have that problem, don’t we? But hey, maybe one day they’ll come in handy!
The new controller from PowerA is a simple yet charming Kirby-pink design, with the character’s face right in the center. It’s exactly what we’ve always wanted in a Kirby-themed controller: plain, pink, and wireless. I don’t know about you, but it’s perfect for me.
You can purchase the new wireless controller from Power A starting August 8. This controller is compatible with the Nintendo Switch and can also be configured for use on PC. However, unlike Xbox controllers, it does not support Amiibo, HD rumble, or motion controls. For that, you’ll need to stick with your Joy-Cons.
Now, let’s talk about the price. If you want to get your hands on this adorable Kirby controller, be prepared to spend $44.99. As of now, it seems that it will only be available for shipping within the US.
However, PowerA’s products often become available through other retailers like Amazon. So, if you’re outside of the US, be sure to check PowerA’s additional sellers on August 8. Hopefully, there will be a way for non-US citizens to get their hands on this amazing Kirby controller because I definitely want one…
