Halo: Reach Launches on PC Officially

Halo is a popular game series which was exclusive for Xbox users. Today, Halo’s much-awaited Halo: Reach game released for the PC platform. The game is returning to the base platform after 12 long years and all the players are excited to explore the exciting gameplay on their PCs.

Soon after its availability, the players and fanboys have offered a grand welcome by setting a new record of playing the game together with 100,000 people. This sets it up to the third position of the most played game on the Steam platform.

The game is released at 1:00 p.m. ET and has reached the number of players of the popular PUBG and Grand Theft Auto V and all the other popular titles. Apparently, it is the most played game on the platform which is not made by Valve.

As noted above, the game has achieved the third position on the list of the top played games after Counter-Strike and Dota 2. These two Valve games have the most number of players i.e. 300,000.

Players who wish to play the game on their PC systems, can head over to their Steam account and download this game from there. The game will offer free credits to your account that will let you buy additional outfits and customs. However, you won’t be able to play match made games.

Furthermore, Halo: Reach is the first game from the series which is released for the PC platform and Steam. Thankfully, 343 Industries has claimed that this will not be the last edition of the game for the PC platform. They are planning to come up with one more edition for the PC platform i.e. Halo: Master Chief Collection. This edition will be released soon for the platforms but the actual confirmation date is yet to announce.

The same game has been released for the Xbox One console users. If you own Xbox One, you are free to load the game and start exploring the new world of Halo. The game is everyone’s favorite one and if you haven’t played it, now is the right time to get it for your console.
