H1Z1: Just Survive Servers to Shutdown on October 24

Yes we do agree that H1Z1: Just Survive was once one of the great hyper games that gamers used to love, more and more players became excited as it has an announcement to have an extreme survival mode, but when this game update was later been confirmed that it would only be a variant for the open-world shooter, things just started to fall down.

Here is a comment by Cal Jeffrey who used to like H1Z1.  “Many gamers, including myself, were excited to hear that the hardcore survival game H1Z1 was finally coming to consoles. However, excitement ebbed after finding out that the console version would only be a battle-royale variant of the open-world shooter. The prospect of being dropped off with nothing but your wits in a world full of zombies was squashed by the BR craze.”

It seems to appear that the Developer Daybreak Game Company is having a fall down on the battle-royale fad as they have announced that they will be shutting down H1Z1: Just Survive servers this coming October.  The company said on its statement:  “After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to sunset Just Survive on Wednesday, October 24 at 11 am PT.  Unfortunately, we are no longer in a position to fulfill its greatness and the current population of the game makes it untenable to maintain.”

Their decision is quite realistic and understandable to think of as the game’s recent concurrent player counts was only around 1,000.  No new players will be coming for it as it has been pulled off from Steam which led to a greater loss.  Current players can still play the game Just Survival until Daybreak Company will pull the plug, and the H1Z1: King of the Kill will remain unaffected.

On its release, the game encountered a lot of downsides including frame rate issues, lack of voice chat, and a weak AI.  Right now, H1Z1 is free to play on PC and PlayStations.  There is a current “on the work” Xbox version but it has no future release date yet.
