Guide To Stamp Rally Event In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has generated quite a sensation among Nintendo Switch owners. It is the fifth installment in the Animal Crossing franchise. New Horizons introduces new game mechanics, but overall it retains the core gameplay from the previous games. It also adds new NPC characters that you can interact with.
Whether it’s decorating your house, terraforming your island, catching fishes and bugs to create a collection, you can do everything in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It also introduces new online-based events, which puts players in daily and weekly challenges. Completing challenges will get players various in-game rewards that you can show off to your friends in Animal Crossing.
To celebrate the International Museum Day, the developers of Animal Crossing has recently announced the Stamp Rally in-game event, which is unlike other holiday or seasonal events. The Stamp Rally event has already begun, and it will last until the end of the month of May.
Similar to the May Day event hosted during the first week of this month, the Stamp Rally event takes place in your island’s museum, which is owned by Blathers, a returning character from the previous installments of the Animal Crossing series.
If you have stopped playing Animal Crossing on your Switch, then it’s the best time to return to your island and participate in the event to earn some sweet in-game rewards. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about the Stamp Rally event in detail.

Participating in the Stamp Rally Event

Interacting with Blathers

It’s quite easy to participate in the Stamp Rally event. Start with visiting Blathers’ museum on your island. Once you enter the museum, interacting with Blathers will put you in a long conversation about the museum and the Stamp Rally event. In the same context, he will explain the whole event to you in detail and give you an invitation to three wings in the museum, which are fossil, fish, and bug. There’s also a wing related to art, but it doesn’t count in the Stamp Rally event.

Completing the Stamp Rally Event

This is where it will take you an hour or so to complete the event. There are three red and yellow Stamp Rally stations in each wing, and it counts for nine stations in total. In order to fill out the stamp card that you receive from Blathers, you will have to interact with the stations throughout the museum’s wings. The stations will be shifted to random places of the museum every day.

Once you successfully fill out your stamp card from all nine stations, head back to Blathers and interact with him. With each set of completed wings, Blathers will reward you with a gold fossil, fish, and bug plaques, respectively.
Since the wings in the museum aren’t really big, it’s quite easy to find the yellow and red Stamp Rally stations even when their locations are randomized every day.

What Rewards do you get from the Stamp Rally Event?

In-game rewards for the Stamp Rally Event

As previously mentioned, completing the Stamp Rally event will reward you with three golden plaques, each representing the fossil, fish, and bug wings in Blather’s museum. The golden plaques can be hanged on a wall or wherever you want them to show off.
Once you complete the event, you can either choose to return to your daily Animal Crossing activities or go back to the museum to complete the next set of Stamp Rally events until 31st May. Note that in-game rewards will remain the same.

What’s next for Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Cyrus and Reese

The next major event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ events calendar is supposedly going to be the wedding season. In the month of June, you will be tasked to visit Harv’s island, where you will find Cyrus and Reese, another set of returning characters from the past installments of the Animal Crossing franchise.
Your objective is to decorate a studio in Harv’s island and take photos of the Cyrus and Reese, the married couple. The in-game rewards are also going to be ‘wedding-themed.’ We will try to cover the event for our fellow Animal Crossing players in the near future.
