We have heard a lot about Android’s new RCS Messages which is now making its way to the Public starting from the United Kingdom.

According to Google’s previous announcement, the RCS Messages will be made available for everyone in the UK and France at the initial stage. Well, the giant has kept its promise and now the feature is live for the public of the UK and France both.

If you are using Google’s own Pixel devices, then the service is available immediately for you to use and test out. The same service has been made available for the premium end Android devices. As reported by many users of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, they are also able to use this new RCS Messages on their respective phones.

In order to check if this feature is available for your device, all you have to do is just go to the Messages app and tap three dots menu button. You can see this menu button in the upper right corner of your device. Once you open the menu, you will see the Settings option there. Next, select Chat Features. If this feature is available for your device, you will see a message regarding this on your screen.

There will be a full control to the user once enabling RCS messages on their smartphones. Users can customize how they will use this service. You can enable or disable typing indicators, read recipient, auto-downloading files etc. You are very much familiar to these features which are already available on WhatsApp. You can take full control of your chat from the Setting menu of the RCS Messages.

This is an initial stage for the app and there’s a lot to do with this app to improve its functionality for the users. The giant will start receiving feedback and reviews about the features and functions of the app from the real users of these two countries. They will try to fix all the issues before launching it to other countries.
