Google+ and Allo aren’t the only services by Google that came to their end but also Google’s Inbox by Gmail will be joining them in their farewell. Previously, Google has made an announcement back in 2018 that they will be shutting down its Inbox app at the end of the year. However, after their first announcement the tech giant never uttered a word on this. But now, Google has started pushing notifications to its Inbox users that it will be going away in 15 days (as on March 18) via a Screen pop-up on the opening of the Inbox app.
“This app will be going away in 15 days,” the notification reads. “You can find your favorite inbox features in the Gmail app. Your messages are already waiting for you.” In addition to these words, Google has included a link to the Gmail app pushing users to use Google products.
Although most of the features available on Gmail app is similar to that of Inbox, however, there are still some of the features missing on the Gmail app which Inbox’s fans are going to miss. But in a hope of that Google will soon integrate those features in the Gmail app.
As of now, the only concern of the users to switch to the Gmail app before April 2 as Google Inbox will be discontinued on the given date.
