The Search Giant, Google has relaunched its Titan Security Key with USB-C compatibility. The upgraded Google Titan Security Key comes with a built-in USB-C connector.

This updated Dongle offers more security than the traditional two-factor authentication. As you know, most new gadgets come with USB Type-C compatibility, this new Titan Dongle provides security to these latest devices.

This new Titan Security Key comes from Yubico. If you wish to purchase one, you can get it from Google’s official store which is starting from tomorrow.

We all use different types of websites to purchase things online and making online transactions from the banking websites. To keep all the sensitive data secured and to enhance the security of the data and all the online accounts, Titan Security Key is here for you.

Online security comes with limitations and for that reason even the latest security and antivirus software can’t protect your sensitive data. This is when you need a physical security for your system and its online data with the security key such as Titan Security Key.

The new Titan USB-C Connector is compatible with Android, Windows, Mac, Chrome OS. It is not compatible with iOS devices. The company will try to make it compatible for iOS users in the coming months.

If we talk about the security feature, according to Google, the new Titan Security Key uses a permanent sealed firmware with a secured element hardware chip. This makes it more secured against the physical attacks.

Google partnered with Yubico who is a trusted Security Key maker in the world. The Security Keys from Yubico are designed with different protocols and they offer additional security to their users.

This is the third physical security key that Google has introduced in the market for the users. The first two keys were available at just $50. But Google has made the buying procedure much simpler for the users. You can even buy a single security key separately from the official website.

If we talk about the pricing, then the USB-A / NFC key will be available for $25 while the micro USB compatible key will be available for $35.
