Google Search Results Will Dynamically Warn When ‘There Aren’t Any Great Matches’

When it comes to Google, the search giant regularly updates its app and service to make them more productive and helpful to the users. This time, Google is adding a new feature to search today that will let you know when it thinks the search results it displays aren’t that good.

“It looks like there aren’t any great matches for your search,” the message reads, before prompting users with suggestions that may help get better results, along with another similar search queries to try.

As of now, Google’s systems can show relevant results even for misspellings in your query, while the neural network-based BERT technique introduced last year finds relevant results “even if you don’t phrase something exactly as it’s written online.” But sometimes, the company admits, the results that Google comes up with just aren’t particularly helpful. So, to make the search more effective for the users, Google is adding this feature on Search.

This is completely a new and amazing idea to be added to Google Search. Google says that the feature shouldn’t show up too often as most of the times Google shows the results which you expect to see. But when there will be any condition like that when Google Search fails to find relevant results to your query, this feature will trigger automatically.
