Today marks one of the biggest festivals of India – Holi, which sees everyone smearing each other with colors. While everyone is busy in celebrating this grand festival in its own way, Google is also taking part in the celebration by tweaking a limited time feature on its Search Engine.
Google has included an Easter egg on its search results screen that lets you splash the entire page with paint. Once you are done with splashing colors entirely on your screen, there is an option at the top of the console to help you clean your screen and carry on your search on Google.
You can access the Easter egg by searching for the term “Holi” or “Holi Festival” on Google Search, which will present you with a colorful Holi doodle on the results page. You can enable the easter egg by tapping the color bowls in the Knowledge Graph card. Once enabled, you can click anywhere on your screen to splash it with different random colors.
After a few smudges, a waterdrop icon will appear, letting you clear those stains and re-enable the search links. This works on all platforms, including desktop, mobile web, and the Google app for both Android and iOS. This limited time feature is available until March 10 which is the final day of Holi. So, you can blow this easter egg during this period to play digital holi with Google!
