The browser will itself check for the new update using the Internet connection. If the update is available for your desktop and PC, then you will be able to download the update and install the updated Google Chrome version on your desktop.

Google has released the Chrome 74 as the stable version for the desktop and PC users. The Google Chrome 75 is currently in its beta edition while the Google Chrome 76 is in Canary edition. If you are from the developer side, then you will be able to make use of the Google Chrome 75 and Chrome 76 editions.

Apart from the dark mode and reduced motion preferences feature, the new update has fixed a lot of security issues for the users.
