Google refreshes Docs, Sheets, and Slides with a fresh design on Android

After giving a minimal look to the Docs, Sheets, and Slides on Desktop, Google tweaks the Android version of these office apps with a fresh design. The new-look of these apps are quite consistent with the rest of the company’s G Suite apps.

Well, this is only a visible upgrade that doesn’t affect the functionality of these apps. All the functionality remains the same as they were before. Google updated the UI of the apps to make the users have a great experience while working over their office work on Google apps.

Google announced the new design on Monday. The Material redesign, as the company calls it, brings a number of UI improvements to the three apps, including ‘highly-legible’ typefaces, a document list that has been ‘restyled,’ more consistent controls across the three mobile products, and iconography that has been updated across the apps.

You should already see the changes in Docs and Slides, while the Sheets update is starting to roll out. So, you will probably see the changes in the Sheets in the coming days.
