Google Redesigned its Search for Mobiles to give it a Fresh Look

Google has unveiled a refreshed design to the Search for Mobiles to give it a fresh look. The tech giant has made some refinements in the search results for the mobiles to make it clear for the users to identify correct information.

Google has previously posted a blog post regarding these changes which are now being reflected in the search results. With the brand new design, the website branding will be displayed on the front and center of the URL to make it clear for the users to recognize the website.

In addition, the name of the website and its associated icons will be displayed at the top of the results to make it clear to customers to recognize the site and to make the decision to follow to the website or not. Prior to this change, the URL of the site was mentioned at the bottom of the title which has been changed to the top.

The tech giant also laid some clear steps for the website administrators to follow some guidelines for the favicons to make them clearly available in the search results.

One more remarkable change has been done in the ads listing. After this change, the Ads label will be shown in the bold to make it clear for the users to recognize the source of the Ads. The URL of the Ads appear at the top of the Ads Title similar to search results.

All of these changes have been done in vision to provide users a seamless search experience on Mobile devices. Google mentioned that this design will allow the company to add more action buttons and helpful previews to search results cards, all while giving its users a better sense of the web page’s content with clear attribution back to the source.

This newly built design started to rolling out globally in different regions and will continue to roll for a week. So, if you haven’t observed any changes in your mobile search preview, do wait a bit more to get a fresh design in search results for your region.
