Google Recovers from Cloud Outage Issue


On Sunday, many users of the Eastern US have reported issues with Google’s services like YouTube, Gmail, Snapchat etc. Today, the giant declared that they have recovered from this issue caused by the Cloud Outage.

Google Cloud experienced a lot of issues on Sunday in the Eastern US which is why a number of popular apps were not working properly. To report this issue, thousands of users had shared their feedback to the respective apps. Well, all these issues have been fixed now and all these apps are ready to use on a respective Smartphone.

Users were seeing slow performance of these apps while many of them were receiving unwanted errors when they launch apps on their respective devices. The company stated that, “We believe we have identified the root cause of the congestion and expect to return to normal service shortly.”

Upon hearing this issue by many users, the company has officially confirmed that they are experiencing some issues with their Cloud services which throw out this kind of error. The Search giant confirmed that their Cloud Compute Engine and Cloud Networking services suffering cloud outage on their dashboard.

The company has just released a final note on this issue which says that they have recovered from the issue and everything is fine now.

According to officials, it was a network congestion issue which caused Google’s services like Google Cloud, G Suite, YouTube stopped working properly. The issues have been resolved and the services are normal to use. They have also confirmed that they will keep an eye on the same for the future and will remind users to keep their accounts secured.

Many agencies took a survey on this issue and they have found that many regions of the Eastern US and Europe have been affected by this issue which is now resolved as stated by the officials.

A popular network tracking website, DownDetector stated that the users had experienced the cloud outage issue for about 12 hours in most areas of the world. As mentioned above, the biggest impact was in Europe and Eastern America.
