Google Play Games Added a New Social Tab for Adding Friends Easily

Google has updated its Google Play Games app and added a new special section called Social. The new Social tab allows users to add friends and compete against them. The Social section tab has been replaced with the standard Profile Tab from the Google Play Games.

Android Police has first discovered the new Section of Social tab added to the Google Play Games. The new Social section or tab is already available and you can get it by simply updating the app on your respective Android device.

The new Social Section can be found at the bottom bar of the app. You can also check out the previous records of your friends whom you have added in the section. This will let you check into the previous achievements of your friends. You will also get to see which games are popular amongst the community created by you within the same Social section of the app.

Apparently, the Social section is there for those who have a gang of players. This means, you can add your favorite players or friends to create your personal community and that’s how you all can compete against each other and can see the track record. The previously played games can also be seen from the same section by the friends you added in the list.

Apart from this, the previous gaming-related activities can also be seen by you from the right side of the section.

If you wish to add or invite your friends to play along, you can simply click on to the Add friends button to add them manually or can send them an invite link to invite them for your friends’ list on the Google Play Games app. You can simply tap on to the icon, copy the link and share or send the invite link using Whatsapp or any other messaging app to your friends.

If they accept your invitation by clicking on to the Accept button, he will be added to the list and you can check out the ones who have accepted your invitation from the Social section of the app.
