Google Pixel 4 Scores Lowers than Galaxy S10+ in DxOMark Camera Review

Everyone is eyeing on the camera of the new Google Pixel 4 smartphones announced recently by Google. Google is somehow dominating the market with a single lens camera. Today, DxOMark released a full camera review report of the newly launched Pixel 4 devices and the results are pretty disappointing.

If you are going to buy a new Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL smartphone, then you must read the report released by DxOMark regarding the Camera Review of the Pixel 4 smartphone. According to the review report, Google Pixel 4 scores lower than Samsung’s Galaxy S10+ smartphone.

Apparently, the Pixel 4’s camera is not that good and you have to lower down your expectations. The previous Pixel devices have managed to take first or second spot in the list, but the Pixel 4 is far away from these spots as per the recent Camera Review.

Everything is pretty normal and Google is giving you the best of functions and features through the native camera app on the Pixel 4 device. Google used 16 Megapixel of Telephoto lens with 2x Zoom on the new generation of Pixel devices. 2x Zoom is pretty low as we have many devices with even more capabilities.

Huawei’s recent launch, Huawei P30 Pro offers 5x Zoom which gives you the best of results with super 5x zoom with just a little loss. Pixel 4 is beating the P30 Pro while indoors. But in outdoors, the results are exactly the opposite.

Google surely has added a secondary lens to the main Camera module, but somehow, the device still lacks a wide-angle camera i.e. the third-lens. It doesn’t even feature a depth sensor to take perfect photos in 3D.

If we talk about the video recording functionality, the Pixel 4 records moving pictures at 1080 pixel quality. Most of the smartphones now offer 4K video recording while Google is still offering 1080 pixel video recording. The company is offering 1080 pixel recording at 30fps. The sensor is capable enough to record 4K videos, but Google has decided not to support 4K video as of now.

In a nutshell, Google Pixel 4 surely gives you the best of photo capturing and video recording experience, but there are some biggies who are offering even better cameras.
