Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite smartphones spotted at the FCC


Google is planning to expand its smartphones line-up in this year with the two new smartphones under its Pixel smartphones series. The new Google Pixel 3 XL Lite and Pixel 3 Lite smartphones recently spotted at the FCC. These two new Pixel devices passed through the US Certification with a set of their specifications.

The company has filed four different certificates for their new Pixel 2 XL Lite and Pixel 3 Lite smartphones. Interestingly, the certifications have shown off the smartphones technical configurations with a few innovative features. Well, Google has not officially declared anything regarding their plans for the upcoming smartphones; however, the listing of its phones in the FCC certification is clearing the doubts itself.

The first filing of these new smartphones was spotted by 9to5Google. The company has filed the certifications with model numbers. We have listed down all the model numbers here. There are four models for each device so there will be a total of two devices with different variants for the consumers.

These are the devices that Google is planning to launch later this year. If we go by the sources, the company may launch these devices in Spring this year.

According to rumors and previous leaks, both the devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 Chipset. There are some more leaks which suggest that the devices will be using the Snapdragon 710 Chipset as well.

The Pixel 3 Lite will feature a 5.5 Inch display while the Pixel 3 XL Lite will come with a 6.0 Inch display. The devices will come with a number of variants starting with 4GB RAM and 32GB of Storage memory. It may feature a 12 Megapixel of a rear camera along with an 8 Megapixel of a front-facing camera.

There are some more reports claiming that the company will retain the traditional AudioJack back to these new devices. The devices will be running on the latest Android 9 Pie Operating System out-of-the-box.

If we talk about the pricing, Google is planning to launch its new smartphones in the mid-range category. Both the devices will be launched at a price tag between $400-$500. The company will start selling these devices from the United States and the devices will be available with Verizon’s Contract.
