Google Phone is app is a standalone dialer app from Google that comes pre-installed on Pixel smartphones and Android One smartphones. Recently, we have seen the Google Phone app on some Xiaomi smartphones sold in Europe. As of now, this dialer app was not available to download on other Android phones, but now, Google is allowing some non-pixel phones to install this app directly from Google Play Store.

First spotted by a member of XDA Developers, the Google Phone app was available to install on the ASUS ZenFone 6 running the latest ZenUI update. Thereafter, several other users also reported the same on the official ASUS ZenTalk forums. At this stage, the beta version of the app is available on the Play Store to download and use.

As of now, this app is available on a limited number of devices. However, looking at the forums where many people get this app on their phones from different brands and models, we can expect to see the full-fledged rollout of the Google Phone app on other devices. Well, you can try downloading this app on your smartphone by checking on the Play Store.
