Google has been one among those companies who have been doing its best to support people in this fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. With its tons of software, the tech giant has done its best possible way to simplify people’s life during this crucial time.
While the world is facing lockdowns due to this coronavirus pandemic, Google has pushed an update to its Google Maps on Android and iOS to highlight restaurants with delivery options. You just need to tap a button on the home screen of Google Maps to see which restaurants are taking orders with home delivery.
Although it will not let you make orders directly place from Maps, it will, of course, show you those platforms which are taking orders with delivery so that you can place your orders with their outlets.
As of now, this feature is rolling out in the world gradually. Currently, this feature is available in the US, Canada and France, and likely other parts of the world as well. Well, this is a great initiative from Google to help people to get food without going to the restaurants during this lockdown period. In this way, you will be safe from this novel coronavirus. Stay Home, Stay Safe!
