However, the same Street View feature was not made available for Mobile users on the Google Maps app. Millions of Google Maps users have been waiting for the Street View feature to use on their mobile app. Today, the search giant has added a new street view layer to Google Maps for Mobile users.

Google’s new Street View Layer on the Google Maps app is very easy to use and makes the entire interface very intuitive. Even a beginner can start using this feature on their mobile app.

You can easily open the Street View on your mobile phone just by accessing the listing of the place or you can just drop the pin to the desired place. You can hold down the Pin anywhere and can drop it to view as a Street View within the mobile app. You will see a different yellow-colored path where Street View is supported.

The new Street View exploration capability is now made available for the Google Maps for Android. Yes, the new Street View has been added by Google for the Android platform now. There is no word on the availability of this new Street View mode for iOS users. You can select the desired Map type from three different options such as Default, Satellite and Terrain.

You can also select the map details from Transit, Traffic and Bicycling. The Street View’s availability will be applied in a blue color layer. When you zoom in the part of the street view where it is available, you will see the streets and their directions in the blue color. Streets with dark imagery will be seen with dark shades on Google Maps.

The areas which don’t support Street View will have the normal shade. You will see the Street View and different maps while using this new Street View feature.

The Google’s Street View feature is available with Google Maps 10.23.4 i.e. stable version. The Street View layer is widely available on Android. The same feature is not rolled out for iOS users. We will likely to receive the same feature on Google Maps iOS platform soon.
