Google is Planning to Release a Web Client for Google Duo


According to a report of 9to5Google, Google is planning to launch a web client of Google Duo in the upcoming weeks. Until now, Google Duo service was only available on Smartphones, Tablet and on some Chromebooks, but soon you might see Duo service running on your Laptop or Desktop computer through your Browser.

As per 9to5Google, Google is working over to roll out web client of Google Duo which will be accessible via Google Chrome and some other browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. Although this report doesn’t disclose any deep information about the features which this Web Client of Duo will get, some features like “Knock-Knock” and video messages will be present.

Also, this report also claims that, unlike Messages which use QR code based method for authentication, you can authenticate yourself via your Google Accounts or with your Mobile number.
