Google is adding a tab grouping feature to Chrome

From the past few months, Google has been revamping its apps to make it better and more productive for users. In the same move, Google has announced today that it is adding a new tab grouping feature to Chrome. With this feature, it will be easier for browser hoarders to organize multiple tabs with tab groups.

Google’s implementation of tab grouping looks pretty clever. You can make a group by right-clicking on one tab and assigning it a custom name and color. Then, you’ll see the color of the group under all of the tabs included in the group. You can even organize them by dragging them from group to group.

This is something that Chrome users have been waiting for long.  You may be working on multiple projects, saving pages for a later date, or waiting on something before taking action. In this way, you can reopen those tabs with which you need to work again without any difficulty.

Tab groups are now available in the latest Chrome beta for desktop. The feature will be rolling out widely to Chrome for desktop across Chrome OS, Windows, Mac, and Linux next week.
