Google has changed the way how we search for things on the platform. Every time you search for something on Google comes up with hundreds of irrelevant search results. From now, the search engine giant has made Google’s search results more efficient.
According to the latest update for Google Search Results, users will get the direct answer to their query by clicking on to the Snippet i.e. Standalone box that appears on the top of the search result.
Moreover, when you click on to the Snippet preview, you will be taken to that website to get the answer with a yellow highlight. Yes, you will be taken to that website and will get the answer to your query in a Yellow highlight. Google has stated everything about the new Search Results Highlighted feature on Twitter.
The official Google’s statements can be found from the embedded tweet given below:

The best part about this new Search Result is you don’t need to customize anything to get the Search Query highlighted. The feature is already enabled and you will get to know the right answer of your query by clicking on to the Snippet.
Apparently, the new Search Result update of Google Search should work on both, Desktop and Smartphone. However, the same will not work in all scenarios as the type of query from user to use is different and sometimes, Google may not be able to fetch the query you are searching for. In this case, you will get the normal search results without the Snippet or a Standalone box.
Some users are saying that this feature is a bit tricky and it is not working well on other web browsers except for Google’s Chrome browser. Safari users do not see such an update in the search results while searching for things on Google Search.
The new Search Result is compatible with the selected browser i.e. Google Chrome. We will get to know more about Google’s updated Search Results in the coming days. For now, you can try out this on your Google Chrome browser.
