Google Fit gets a Dark Mode and a new Sleep Charts feature

Android Q is on its way to hit the platform that comes with a system-wide dark mode. In the preparations of that, most of the apps have been adding dark themes. Among others, Google is also setting up all of its apps with Dark Mode to be supported on the Android Q. In the same composition, Google Fit has also got the new Dark Mode along with some new sleep features.

Dark theme in the apps has been so popular after the announcement of Android Q with Dark mode. Dark mode in the Google Fit app is as same as that of we have seen in other Google apps. The background is dark grey, not pure black. The bottom toolbar is a slightly lighter grey. The dark mode in Google Fit really looks so rich as it completely matches with the system-wide Dark Mode.

Along with Dark mode, Google is also adding some sleep features to Google fit. You can connect sleep apps to Google Fit and see the charts along with your other activities. These charts allow you to see your sleep patterns over time. These sleep entries can be manually added and edited as well.

Both of these features will be rolling out to Google Fit on Android by the next week.
