Google Chrome update will add a new Privacy Tool that restricts companies to collect user’s data

Google has always been working hard against the privacy issues of users on all of its platforms. And now, Google is about to push a new Privacy tool to the Google Chrome which will add new Privacy protection for the users. This privacy tool will restrict companies to track you online and collect your precious information.

This report came from The Wall Street Journal, which says that the new privacy tools that will come in a future version of Chrome will give users more information about the cookies that are tracking them.

Google has been working on this tool from the past six years. In the last year, the tech giant accelerated the working procedure on this tool, and now, it looks like the company has finished working on it.

This new privacy tool will block cookies that are installed by profit-seeking companies, that are separate from the owner of a website. However, this tool will not restrict Google’s own cookies that also collect plenty of user data. “The coming changes aren’t expected to curtail significantly Google’s ability to collect data,” WSJ writes.

This step will surely add new privacy protection for the Chrome users to allow them easily surf the web without hesitation of the privacy leakages. However, the tech giant itself removes itself from this blacklist and will continue to collect minor data of its users.
