Google Chrome for Android Tests New UI

Google Chrome is everyone’s favorite web browser not only for the PC platform but for Mobile platform also. It is the most downloaded Browser app on mobile platforms, Android and iOS. Google Chrome for Android adds new UI.

Earlier this year, Google officially launched tab grouping feature on Android with a confirmation of coming up with new updates with advance features in the coming weeks. Now, Google is planning to integrate Tab groups into Chrome with Android’s app.

The new Chrome of Android’s Tab groups UI uses a bar with the bottom of the screen. This lets you easily switch between your other groups without exploring much of the screen. The new Chrome for Android Duet redesign moves the browser’s tabs from the top to the bottom. This new placement makes it easier for users to easily access the various tabs and groups.

The company is constantly working on providing easy interface so that users can easily explore the web world from their mobile devices. The aim behind coming up with this new design is to make its UI much simpler and user-friendly.

According to reports, you can enable this new UI feature from your Android phone with Chrome Dev and Canary builds. For that, you need to first enable the Chrome flag “Duet-TabStrip Integration”. If we talk about the purpose of this tab, then the description section of it says, “Allows users to access integration of Duet and TabStrip.

Once you enable this UI, the new Group Tab UI hides the groups inside the tab button which you can access from the toolbar section. You can just long-press the tab button to see the group tabs and can have access of them from the same page.

The new design looks pretty impressive but most of the users might not like it as it makes things for the group tabs user a little complicated. It’s easy to access and makes the UI much cleaner, still, if you are in a hurry and want to access your favorite group tabs, then you might find it a little difficult to access it.
