In the world full of advanced technology, editing a photo is quite a simple things to do. There are tons of apps available in the market that uses some filters to turn your photos into an excellent piece of art. Well, when the world is suffering from the ongoing coronavirus crisis and everyone stuck in their home, Google wants to bring some joy in the life of people with its latest move. Google is also allowing you to play with your pictures to give them an excellent makeover in the style of your favorite artist.

In its recent move, Google added a new feature called Art Transfer in its Arts and Culture app. This new feature allows you to apply the characteristics of well-known paintings to your photos. This new tech is powered by an algorithmic model that works in a very unique way than any other apps out there. This new feature doesn’t just blend images or overlay your photo but instead produces a unique recreation of the image inspired by the specific art style chosen.

All these changes and works are done right on your device instead of any cloud service involved. This new feature is already rolled out on the latest version of the Google Arts & Culture app.

To use this feature, just open the camera menu in the Google Arts & Culture app and choose “Art Transfer.” Capture or select an existing picture from your device, then scroll through dozens of masterpieces to choose the art style you want to use. There is also a scissor tool that you can use to select which bits of the image you want to apply to the style.
