The Search Giant Google has announced a lot of things during its Google India event held in New Delhi. The company has introduced its India-centric features for the users of India. The Google Assistant is made available via a phone call. This makes it easier for the users to access the Assistant without the need for a Smart Speaker or even a Smartphone. The company partnered with India’s leading mobile carrier Vodafone-Idea to bring this feature for the Indian consumers.

Furthermore, the company stated that they have been actively testing this new phone call Google Assistant service in two different cities in India i.e. Lucknow and Kanpur. If your device is on Vodafone-India’s carrier and wants to access this new feature, you can simply access it by dialling the toll-free number 000-800-9191-000.

Just dial the above cell phone number and the Google Assistant will be right there to assist you. You can choose from two different languages, English or Hindi. We can expect from Google to add more languages to this assistant with the phone call feature in the coming months.

The company’s Spokesperson further added that the Google Assistant via Phone call will be offering some most common features at the initial stage. It will help you get the live score, real-time traffic updates, locate nearby stores etc.
