Unveiling Pokémon TCG Japan’s exciting upcoming set, Pokémon Card 151, which pays tribute to the original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region. Previously, Kadabra’s presence was marred by a legal dispute initiated by magician Uri Geller, who claimed the Pokémon was inspired by his spoon-bending technique. However, Geller has since withdrawn his complaint. In addition to the return of Kadabra, this expansion stands out for its unique Pokédex order, a departure from the usual type-based organization found in regular sets. This Japanese set was released on June 16th and will serve as the foundation for the English-language collectors’ special set, Scarlet & Violet – 151. Pokémon Center Japan offers two new merchandise items showcasing Giovanni’s presence in Pokémon Card 151. These include stylish card sleeves and a deck box. The card sleeves feature three Pokémon known for their association with Giovanni. Of course, his loyal Persian graces one side, while Giovanni’s Charisma Special Illustration Rare, highly sought after in the set, showcases Persian prominently. Rhyhorn and Nidoqueen, two Pokémon frequently seen alongside Giovanni, complete the imagery on the sleeves.
