Quordle FAQs: Your Questions Answered!

What is Quordle?
Unlike Wordle’s daily guessing game of a new five-letter word, Quordle features four puzzles to solve simultaneously. Players have nine guesses to solve the puzzle, making it more challenging than Wordle. The game is available online via the Quordle website or Merriam-Webster. Quordle’s dictionary provides daily solutions, which are identical for all players. Similar to Wordle, players must complete the puzzle before midnight in their respective time zones. Daily stats include streak count and Quordle achievements for winning games and guessing tough words.

What are the rules of Quordle?
Quordle’s rules are almost similar to those of Wordle. The key rules are:
1. Green-colored letters match the right answer & right place.
2. Yellow-colored letters match the right answer & wrong place.
3. Grey-colored letters show letters not related to the answer.
4. An A could turn green in one tile, yellow in another, and gray in the final two.
5. Quordle never has plural answers.
6. Letters can reproduce.
7. Every guess must align with the Quordle’s valid dictionary word.
8. There’s no hard Mode in Quordle.
9. Players have nine guesses is given to solve the puzzle.
10. Players’ game resets at midnight in their time zones.

What is a good Quordle strategy?
To succeed, you must approach Quordle differently than Wordle. With four puzzles to solve in nine guesses, you’ll require a strategic approach. Here are two key things to remember:
1. Use several starting words:
Using almost 2/3 starting words is preferred since one word provides insufficient clues to meet the challenge. Include one of Wordle’s best words and select a few more words using up more of the most commonly used consonants, and any remaining vowels.
2. Build mental maps:
Mentally map the letters related to each puzzle. After a few Quordle games, you’ll have psychological maps to leverage to beat the game.
